With over 20 years experience in management and administration it was
inevitable that Katy Dymond established Dymond's Secretarial Service and brings
a sparkle to many small businesses as their own Virtual Assistant. Katy has a passion

Ingrid Bayer, My Online VA Service
After many years working as a legal secretary and in small business administration, I took the plunge and started my own VA business - My Online VA Service - which has been in operation for 18 months.
I absolutely love being a VA, and have a real passion to share the possibility with others who can see the same opportunity I did in creating a diverse and financially rewarding business that operates from home. I also have a passion for helping to develop our industry so that it becomes a recognised and represented Australian industry. As one of the fastest growing industries in Australia, it surprised me that VA's had no representation or unified 'voice', and I have set about working with other like minded VA Industry leaders to establish something that will benefit all those who come in contact with us!

why Korryn is always looking for new study opportunities to better her skills

Hazel Theocharous, Assisting U Virtually
Hazel has over 20 years experience in administration and office management
in a wide range of business spheres. Taking that experience and wanting to have
a work/life balance, Hazel started her own business in 2006. With two boys to raise, a home to run,
bills and paperwork to organize, and a business to look after, Hazel quickly
realized that she would not be the only person trying to juggle their lives
(personal and/or business).
Hazel therefore created a virtual
assistance business where she assists small business owners, individuals and
even medium sized business with their administrative, event organization,
travel arrangements & itineraries, email newsletters, blogs, social
networking and more.
There
are more and more people seeking to outsource their extra commitments, and
Hazel has successfully found a niche where she can either assist people onsite
or virtually with each client being able to remain the forefront of their
business and also have that work/life balance everyone is seeking to achieve

Liz Parker, 121 Temps and VA Placements
It is indeed humbling to accept this nomination for this unique award.
I commenced business as a virtual assistant in 2007 and during that year provided a range of services from business and strategic planning to daily operations for several clients. Whilst I enjoyed the experience, I knew by the end of 12 months that my passion was in helping aspiring virtual assistants set up and operate a successful business. Since 2008 I have helped a few hundred aspiring virtual assistants in this task. My extensive experience in the workforce as a Personal Assistant and progressing to a National IT Centre Manager, Senior Manager and Chief Executive Officer means that I can draw on my skills, experiences and qualifications to provide a service that supports and motivates.
